You probably come across a lot of self love promotion at the moment, which I LOVE. Because in the end it is you whom you spend the rest of your life with, so .. better make sure you feel happy and amazing, right?
But what does self care actually mean?
When life gets hectic and overwhelming, it’s so easy to reward ourselves with wine and fastfood, crash on the couch with netflix and block out all thinking to get some short moments of peace. Me and my friends do this sort of “relaxing” waaay to often and notice that we don’t feel recovered in the morning, but actually a lot worse.
Ever since we realized that junk food and chill offers no solution (duh), we tried to brainstorm ways to actually feel better when things get rough. How do you take care of yourself when life feels stressy?

What are the best ways to feel content and happy during your week? I read a lot of “light a candle and you’ll feel better”… but that’s external influence. I believe self care starts inside our minds.
